I saw on a video that they make idler wheel oring kits and does any one know where to buy them?

The only o ring kits I've ever heard of are for RCA 45 players.

Why not just go down to your local hardware store and buy some o rings? You may have to experiment with size, but I would think you'd be able to come up with something that would work. This is assuming your idler wheel has a suitable notch for an o ring to fit into.

They made Idler TIRE kits for VCRs, but never phonos. MCM, Mat Electronics, PRB and others made them.

I have also seen a replacement idler tire for a Webcor wire recorder.

I thought they were special o rings with a groove in them the rca skipper does not have a grove for o ring to stay there.

I sent the wheel to Gary and he said it takes 4 weeks. I was wondering why so long.

I had Gary at VOM restore the wheel for the 78 player in my RCA 9W105. It did take awhile, but he does excellent work. The wheel is a couple years old now, still works great and no flat spot.
