Hey there, I recently stumbled upon a magnavox record player in decent condition which seems to be from early to mid 60s, don't quote me on that though. I was hoping someone on here would be able to point me in the direction of a selling price and rarity, as I can not find a single webpage that will even so much as contain a photograph of the machine. Model number is 1p3011. The closest I can find is a slightly larger model with similar woodwork, but not exact.

Late 1969 - early 1970

You might get fifty bucks for it, or you might have to pay someone to take it off your hands.

Condition and styling will make all the difference.
Colonial styling is not in fashion - was it ever. Lol

What is referred to as Contemporary/mid-century-modern styling is kinda desirable to a few who have the space.

Just because you cannot find it on-line means nothing. Rarity often equals Zero.
Why would anyone want a monster console in their home in 2019 is beyond me.

Post some photos and let us see your baby.

You can post photos as attachments straight out of the chute. No need to wait 24Hrs.

Posting photos to a forum thread...

A lot of times it's not because of rarity but because there's basically little to no interest.

Image
1960s Mid Century Modern or Danish Modern....$250 to $1000 resale if properly restored.

Image
1970 Colonial style console stereo....$75 to $200 resale if properly restored.

Image
1970s Mediterranean style console stereo....$10 resale restored or not.

The 1P3011 is in the 1969 catalog. It's the bottom of the line model in console stereos. It was sold with or without a radio. Without a radio it's rated at 20 watts. With a radio it's rated at 15 watts. An interesting feature is it was advertised as having removable legs to facilitate setting it on a shelf or bookcase. I have three Magnavox consoles from that period albeit somewhat better grade (40 watts). I paid $20 for one, $17 for another, and the third one was free.

This it?

Thank you all for the help, I just was not sure what I had found. I'm unsure how to close this thread but I guess I'll leave it open either way if anyone cares to add.
I will most likely use it as a project and see what I can add with what I have laying around the house. I am somewhat of a audiohead and enjoy making things work better and not exactly how they were intended. I have made a Bluetooth quadrophonic surround set up with an an old headset module and a bit of programming. pardon the off topic there at the end, too much coffee.

For service documentation, you will need to get the individual chassis numbers. They will be rubber stamped in ink, or pasted to paper tags attached to the main-body (chassis).
