I found this 1959 45 RPM player at a flea market today. It uses a 6 volt dry cell for power and plays 45's via a slot that turns on the player as the record is inserted. Haven't obtained a battery yet so operation is uncertain.

I am curious about stylus replacement and would like to obtain a schematic and manual if possible. The Radio Museum has some information but I couldn't outwit their complicated, to me, download sequence. There is another source that charges for this information, which is fine, but I dislike provide credit card information if avoidable.

Any suggestions AND does anyone have experience with servicing one?

If you are referring to Steve Johnson, he takes PayPal
https://stevenjohnson.com/manuals/schematics.htm

Downloading from Radiomuseum:
Click on the desired item in the schematic section. It will come to the main window, but only showing a small piece
Click on the main window--this opens a new page
Fill in your name and email address
Click on "I am not a robot"--do whatever it asks
Once it is happy, click on "Request for a Document"

Watch out for the ads offering download SW---only click on the RM official buttons.

Easy once you get use to it....
