I was fortunate to get this cabinet a couple of months ago, Radio works fine, and has sound. The turntable rotates for all the speeds (33-45-78). But looks like the needle is not working (I lightly rubbed it to test for sound, sorry if it is the wrong way to test it), anyone has experience replacing/changing the needle?
I also have the original manual
Turntable: Wester Chicago Model 100-1
Thank you for any help.

Welcome to the forum.
Before you go any farther, has this unit's chassis been electrically restored ?
This must be done to prevent damage to yourself and the electrical circuits.
Minimum of all old capacitors (electrolytic and wax/paper) must be replaced. Resistors should be checked to be w/in specs. Tubes checked for possibly shorts. Wiring visually checked for insulation integrity.
