I have what I believe to be a 1967 Zenith X560W1.
This is the exact model I have.

The problem I have is that when the record drops down onto the platter, the tonearm will not lift up and come across to sit down on the record. In addition, when the tone arm gets to the end of the record, it is supposed to lift up and come back across to resting position automatically. It does not do this either.

Can you give me any help on how this can be repaired so that it works correctly?

You've already started a thread on this, and the advice given still applies.

There are no shortcuts---the changer mechanism must be disassembled, old gummy grease removed, relubricated where necessary and then reassembled and adjusted.

If you're not comfortable doing so, you can find places on the internet that specialize in such things
