I picked up this NIB Calrad replacement tone arm at Kutztown. Crystal Pickup model T-25.
It clearly is marked on the box "Made in Japan" and it has "Japan" clearly marked in the mold of the plastic tone arm.

My question is the cartridge appears to be a Webster Electric. Did the Japanese rip-off the Webster logo, or is this a true Webster Electric crystal cartridge?
It would seem strange to me to sell a product labeled "Made in Japan" with a US made cartridge in it.

That doesn’t look like the Webster Electric logo to me. AFAIK Webster never made crystal cartridges.

There were two Webster companies within close proximity.
Webster Electric in Racine Wisconsin and Webster Chicago or Webcor, in, well... Chicago.

Here is the logo of Webster Electric I see on the cart.
