Working on the record changer portion of a Grundig SO191. Looks like it's going to work just fine. Drive wheel isn't even flat spotted as the speed control has a 0 position which disengages the idler wheel and someone was nice enough to leave it in the 0 position for the 30 years or so that this thing sat. Anyway the turntable is missing the mat. I have been looking online for a source. Gary at VM has some that will probably work, but I didn't know if anyone knew of a source, or has used any universal mats on these changers before.

Thanks
Steve

Nothing NOS is around, as these mats didn't age well. I just find what's out there on eBay or V-O-M, in the closest platter size.

Thanks, i guess that explains why nothing is there. Were the originals felt or rubber?

Rubber. Usually Green on some models.

On the PE 66 it would be tan colored. The green mat was used on the PE REX.

Thanks for the info. One "closest I could find" replacement coming in from Gary at VOM. Hopefully it will fit ok.
