I am looking for the oscillator coil from any of the Emerson pre-war chassis: AC,AL,AU,BJ,BL,R
Will buy the whole chassis to get a good coil. A universal coil does not work satisfactorily. I have tried Play things of the past- no luck.

Thanks
John

Any part numbers from the manual and part itself might help ID acceptable parts from mainstream coil manufacturers that should work good.
If you can cross reference it to a Miller, Meissner, or Merit part number The chances of finding a acceptable sub is high.
The description such as 1st or 2nd IF or frequency range would help in finding a acceptable sub.

The Emerson Part number is 3RT-319A. I wasn't able to cross it to anything else.

I have what I think is the Miller or Meissner equivalent. I have about 200 IF coils/cans here. Can you post a pix or send it to me directly?

Hi Mark
I don't have the original coil; it's long gone. If you look at any of the Emerson chassis AC,AL,AU,BJ,BL, or R in Riders, you can see how it is connected.
I WOULD BE HAPPY TO GET AN OPEN COIL & REWIND IT !
Thanks
John
