Hey Guys, I recently bought a Silvertone TV with every intention of restoring it. When I started tearing into it, I realized it was way too bad to mess with. So, I parted it out. I kept the CRT but have no use for it. See link. If anyone wants it, it's yours free if you'll pay for shipping or you can pick it up if you are in the Chicago area. I'm not even positive if it works so be aware of that. Thanks Matt https://flic.kr/s/aHsm2tYdWa

Do you still have all the parts to the TV (I don't care about the signal tubes)? That is a very rare Silvertone model, that I've wanted for a long time. If it is complete I'd be willing to pay $75 for the whole set (does not need to be assembled).

That's a 10FP4, the aluminized version of the 10BP4, a desirable tube for sure.

EEEK, wish I'd have known it was rare. At this point, I only have the tuner, cabinet, and CRT. Like I said, if you want it or know anyone who might, it's yours for the cost of shipping. Guess I'll check next time.

Sadly given how much was said to be trashed that is probably how that set will stay....Given it's Chicago Land location it is probably 1 of the 2 I know of that have been for sale there in the last 7 years (I got beat to both). It makes me wish I'd have been able to be first customer to reach it....Unless some true unobtainium part was bad odds are I'd have gotten it going, or at the very least kept it together/whole... I don't think all the kings horses and all the kings men can fix the missing bits and pieces even if Doctor Rhythm (V) helps. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szT0GZq4LLI

I've been in contact with the owner and intend to use it to help restore mine which has some cabinet issue. Of course if a spare chassis should show up, I'd love to make two working examples.
I asked where he got it thinking it might have been the one for sale at the Volo Antique Mall a while back. Was surprised to learn he found it at a garage/estate sale not far from my place.

I think I remember that estate sale listing.
Good luck on your resto Bob.
