I need a 50ua (Microamp) approximately 4" x 4" meter movement with an internal resistance of 2k or less. Would love a Roller-Smith version (FDJ model I believe), Simpson model number is 1329, Triplett is 420 I believe.

I need 4”, not 3” and the Chinese meter linked does not have the internal resistance listed. I know what it is for the Simpson, Triplett, etc .

Shawn, I have available an older Triplett (w/ curved top logo) 420-PL (all clear acrylic plastic case & lens; not bakelite as you'd like; 4 11/16"W X 4 3/16"H); measures 1.64K-Ohms lug-to-lug, with a 10K-Ohm shunt calibration/factory resistor soldered across movement inside case; response is linear but about 3 percent low; one might (?) bring it to spec by removing the internal 10K shunt resistor? Also have an older Triplett 327-T (black bakelite w/ glass lens; 3" square) measures 1.57K lug-to-lug, reads in spec. Neither of these matches your exact need, but thought I'd mention them. Price negotiable;fair. I realize maybe you found something by now. Fred

Can you post the back of the Mercer? Can you measure the impedance between the lugs?

OK, I have spent a half hour to get access to the back of the meter, take pictures, and post them. I sure hope you want the meter! WL
