I'm hoping someone within the forum might be able to help me with a quick question. A couple of weeks back we lost my father-in-law. Bill's memorial service is this coming Saturday, September 29th. Bill LOVED old time radio and he was able to rattle off entire segments of old radio skits. Radio fed his love of music. He love the Lone Ranger and several comedy shows as well. One routine in particular that he would recite involved a comedic calling of a horse race. I can't remember if it was from the Fibber McGee and Molly show or what exactly it came from. Does this ring a bell to anyone out there in Old Time Radio land. If possible I'd love to find a piece of one of these familiar bits that we could play during his memorial. It would be good for a smile for certain. Thanks in advance. Greg

It was Feetlebaum. Doodles came by my house in the 70s driving his pink `59 Cad convertible given to him by Bill Harrah from his car collection. Opened his trunk and gave me his new and last album.
Barham Blvd named after Pattie Barham's father, a land tycoon.
Doodles lived near me and I knew his son Win from CB days. A real character!
