I just got some connectors, that seem to be used for coax cable , like PL 259. I have several types, and tried to look them up
at mouser, but I have no idea of what names or numbers I have! So I am hoping that someone has a couple of
catalogs, that I could borrow, so, I could do some i.d. work, and be able to send them There are some switchcraft, and some amphenols,
so, ones that might cover older stock of those would be very helpful.
I am very happy to cover postage for you, and they will taken care of.
Thanks for looking!

It might be quicker if you posted pics of them - we should be able to identify them. Dan

Pasternack has this: http://www.pasternack.com/pages/Technic ... tifier.pdfAmphenol will have a XX-XX or XX-XXX part number - they cross on the Amphenol site to the current catalog number, if still manufactured. And then there is the competitor cross reference on several sites - Amphenol, Trompeter, Radiall, Connex, Suhner, Johnson, ....the list goes on. Surplus Sales of Nebraska also has gobs of connectors - compare there.

What 11, 10, 9, 8 ... PL259 various parts, some seem to be missing the back screw ring. A few M, and a few F. Not all parts are there for all connectors
What 5, 6, 7. 1/8" mini jack and plug
What 3, 4 - incomplete, parts of something
What 2 and last - left one is an amphenol style mic connector, right is another PL259. Rear two look like more amphenol mic but cannot tell for sure. Rear left appear to be crimp rings for some of the other connectors above

+1 to Barry's list. Those smaller PL-259's were a crimp style for RG-58 cable. I tried them a few times, ended up going back with solder type. The ones in the last pictures are missing the pins - I took a picture of one I have in stock - used to be used on PA systems/amps like Dukane. All in all, what you've got is not really worth anything. Dan

Those four pin Amphenols like the last picture posted here are pretty much of value only for vintage Electro-Voice microphones, and something like old tube GE public service radios that often use carbon mics. People that have the older EV mics from the 50s and 60s will pay a decent price for those. If they were the 3 pin types, they would work with vintage Shure mics. Can sell for 10-20$ on ebay considering condition. I also see an Amp single pin solder eye type connector used on old mics and test equipment. The rest seem to be cheap coax connectors meant to be crimped instead of soldered. And the shield crimp barrels appear to be missing. Not much good for anything. The quarter inch phone plugs can be used for stuff like guitar cables or to plug headphones or speakers into vintage gear that use that sort of audio plugs and jacks. Actually the bakelite parts that have the pins in them seem to be missing from your big Amp connectors, rendering them practically worthless.

Sorry some things came up, and this is my first chance to check back ! I really appreciate ALL of your input because I really knew nothing about those things. I think I will just move most of the stuff down the road, after checking out the mic connectors, Thanks to all of you, you are great bunch of guys,
