It's my Monarch turntable. Once it has finished playing the record, the tonearm will swing back, and then move over to the vinyl to play again. It happens when I use the auto and manual play mode and also when I reject it.

In short, it keeps playing!

In many TT's the swing arm that holds the records down is usually sets up the shutdown in auto, so when the last record falls, the mechanics go into shutdown mode after the last record is finished. I'm pretty sure you have something gummed up or bent in that TT's mechanics. Voice of Music TT's have a small spring loaded trigger piece that is usually gummed up also.

Has it go to do with the L-shaped bar or overarm?

Make sure the overarm is going all the way down--if it's not, the mechanism will think there's still a record left to be played

Will you post a photo of the underneath of the changer ?

The record changer should have a thorough
cleaning of all old grease within the cycle
mechanism.
Solidified grease can affect the trip link mechanisms,
causing your problem, along with the shut off lever
being inhibited.

We also need the changer model #.
Located under platter or underside of changer base.

Okay, I forgot that BSR made the Monarch record changer.

It appears to be a BSR UA15 series changer.
I believe if you do the basic de-greasing service to the eccentric
cam gear and trip link mechanism, you should be good.

Isopropyl alcohol 70 or 91 % works very well on this old grease.

You need to remove the platter first. There should be a C-clip
or some other retaining ring around the base of the record
spindle.

Edit: I deleted that video link, as when I reviewed it, found it
would not be helpful to you.

Come back with questions after you get the platter off,
and take photos of the top of changer with platter off.
