I’ve tried in vain to locate ANY photographs of a 1933/34 Canadian Marconi 44 cabinet. I’m trying to confirm toner shades used on this behemoth of a set if anyone has pictures they can provide.

Found it interesting that I have been unable to locate a single photo. It’s a gothic cabinet design, much like a Model 41 but with four door closures, two for the tuner section and two for the dual speaker grill section.

Is this model the proverbial hens tooth? Anyone out there with Marconi knowledge that can speak to that?

If that’s the consensus, I’d seriously consider sending this cabinet out to someone far more skilled than myself. Any insight appreciated.

You might want to ask over at the Canadian vintage Radio forum. Seeing as it's a Canadian set (probably assembled in Montreal, Quebec). I would say that very few of your American neighbors have seen one,... let alone have a picture of one. There isn't as much activity over there, so it might be a bit for a response.

Thanks for the lead, I’ll check it out.

I suppose I take it for granted that I’m looking at Vancouver Island, Canada from my normal fishing spot.
