It appears that Kutztown’s brand new Hampton Inn is open for business. Closest lodging to the meet, just the other side of the KU campus.

I disagree Mike.... This is the closest lodging to the meet.

Yes, I sleep in Hotel Ford. Excellent accomodations next to the pavilions In fact, in the 33 years I have been going to radio swap meets, shows and conventions, I've rarely ever stayed at a hotel/motel. Save that money for radios! Over the years, I've often wondered why radio show locations like Kutztown aren't more common? -Steve

Sad.... Joe was a good man and I actually feel guilty bidding on his items. Like i'm picking his bones or something. Heavy stuff is right though..

I might hang around and see if he still had the Hallicrafters S-40B I sold him, maybe try and buy it back for old times sake.

Dropped off a load of firewood at Renningers this morning, visited with friends, poked around the flea market and didn’t see any spotted lantern flies anywhere. FYI, the weather looks good for the meet...no rain and highs 78-80.

I will be in our usual booth #314 so stop by and say hello. I don't think Terry will make it as his wife is recovering from surgery, but another collector who has come with us 3 or 4 times is coming.
I don't ever recall seeing these flies you guys are talking about.

Awesome John! I'm looking forward to seeing you again! As well as the "other collector" (I think I know who he is) I will be sad to miss Terry. Give him and his wife my best. I saw those strange moth looking things a year ago. Took a couple photos as I'd never seen them before. I didn't know they were an invasive species... -Steve
