I recently finished the restoration of my Radiola Grand.
It was a fairly time consuming restoration. I made reproduction batteries for my higher end sets.
It is as close to an original representation of how it would have looked back when it was originally purchased in 1922.

I will post a video of the set in operation at a later time.

I have one with the earlier style cabinet. Pretty sure it is the re-branded first model Aeriola Grand that they recalled because it looks like around the edges of the decal, there is another decal poking up around it. Will not scrape the decal to find out for sure what is underneath. Anyway, were the audios good on yours? I have yet to power up mine - don't want to blow the wd 11s if I hook it up wrong to an arbe III unit. That radio will be a century old in a few months - amazing!

Fantastic!! I would love to have the early variant!!

I had two bad audios. The first audio off detector I used the Hammnd that is identical to the AES P-T156. The second audio I used the Radiola III replacement made by Hammond.
It works quite well!

Beautiful! Please let us know when you have some video to post. I've always wondered how that set sounds.
