Hi Guy's, I'm trying to figure out who made this microphone? It came with a bunch of ham radio and test equipment I bought from a closed pawn shop. Attachment:

It looks a lot like an Electro Voice 920. Shure also made a similar mike. Very high impedance, high output. Either way its a crystal mike. IF it has encountered moisture, it may be dead. -Chuck

Somewhere on the Internet (I know that's a big help) someone has a microphone website that has photos of hundreds of mics and what they are, make and model. It's situations like this that make a bookmark for that site helpful. I've come across it a few times and I'd recognize it if I saw it, but I can't remember how I found it. Google I guess?

We are not far off. I do the same thing. Then I can't remember what site it was lol. I'll Google it.

A previous question revealed a knockoff of a Turner desk mic.
Couldn't this be the same, an import carried by Lafayette that is made to look like a bigger brand mic?

It definitely is vintage and the owner of the pawn shop was known to do cb's and radio. I listed about ten base station and mobile vintage cb's on fBay yesterday and most of them are sold. They were worth about $100-$200 each....so I'm thinking it's not a cheap microphone. But that's a guess.
