Hi, I am putting together up a Majestic 70 and was wondering if anybody could suggest a source for knobs. I don't care if they're exact but would like them to look of the period.
Thanks!
Ron
------------------
Hi Ron
Original Majestic knobs are wood with a fancy metal cap and metal insert. They are round 1 1/8" diameter.
Supplier often mentioned for knobs is David Frush, parts2many@aol.com .
------------------
Norm

Hi Ron
Just took a picture of a Majestic knob and emailed it to you. The top metal decorative part is over an otherwise wooden knob.
------------------
Norm

70 knobs are unlike later Majestics, quite distinctive as I recall. My 71 is in the barn at the moment. I'd refer you to the photo in my vol.2 but it's so dark you can't see the knobs (we didn't use that printer again, when it came time to publish vol.3)
------------------
The knobs, as Alan said are different than the later knobs with the metal cap. Drop me an email and I could take a polaroid picture and send it to you via the post office.
------------------
